to understand and use.

Illustration & Visual Design

Illustration gives me space to explore texture, atmosphere, narrative, and handcrafted visual worlds beyond interface design.

I create analogue and digital illustrations for brands, products, editorial projects, and visual identities.

From architecture and food illustration to seasonal artwork and brand visuals, each piece is crafted with personality, detail, and story.

A bit about me

Originally from Romania, I have always been curious about different cultures, human behaviour and people’s various perspectives on the world.

By now, I have spent half of my life in Amsterdam, Netherlands and this enriching experience has taught me the importance of adaptability and empathy, as well as the beauty of the differences between us.

Today, I use the same curiosity in my designs and digital work.

After many years working in education, sales and market research I have decided to switch directions and build a career that felt more aligned with my creative personality and interests.

What started as a doodling hobby and a passion for sketches and graphic novels gradually evolved into formal training in Graphic Design and UX/ Product Design, eventually leading to the creation of my own design studio- Wicked World Designs.

Since then I have completed projects for small businesses and larger organisations, gaining hands on experience along the way. Today I combine UX thinking, visual storytelling, illustration, and research to create intuitive and expressive digital experiences.

My work is shaped by both structure and imagination and I’m interested in the space where usability, storytelling, and visual expression meet — combining UX design, illustration, and creative problem solving.

As someone who naturally thinks in visuals, colours and stories, this new path allows me to combine my professional skillset with my creative nature.

On the side...

Outside of design, I love travelling and discovering new perspectives, and that curiosity often finds its way into my creative work. I’m drawn to stories — especially those that explore culture, people, and social impact.

When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me cooking, dancing, or sketching — often inspired by places I’ve visited or stories I’ve come across along the way.
